A companion caregiver is there for conversation, meals, errands and getting out of the house. Many families start here after noticing small things: the fridge is emptier than it should be, appointments get missed, or Mom has stopped driving and stopped going out.
It is not medical care, and it usually doesn't include hands-on help with bathing or toileting. If that becomes necessary later, the same caregiver can often move to personal care so your parent doesn't have to get used to someone new.

What we don't do
We're a non-medical agency. Caregivers don't give injections, change wound dressings or handle other nursing tasks. If your family member needs that, we can work alongside a home health or hospice provider.
The easiest way to start is a phone call. Tell us what's going on and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
